HELLO! I’M ZOHREH
I make technology work for humans.
I make technology work for humans.
I'm an award-winning app entrepreneur and user experience designer dedicated to creating inclusive solutions that cater to the needs of all users. With an 11-year tenure as a graphic designer and a professional background in counseling, I excel at understanding user needs and crafting intuitive experiences.
Our users are not isolated individuals; they exist within families, cultures, and societies. Considering the culture and context of your user is vital for good design.
Accessibility is important and designing inclusively is just as crucial. It is essential we consider the way our users interact with the world around them if our solutions are to be respectful and empowering.
It is our responsibility to consider how our solutions impact not only the individual user but also the larger systems they are connected to. As designers, we have a responsibility to advocate for communities and speak up if we feel that there could be harm.
The company needed a way to target specific audiences online. With Strapi as our content management solution, I recycled elements of our website to create an easy-to-use, on-brand template. This strategy empowered the marketing team by reducing engineering dependency by 90%.
My company uses two design system libraries. Here you can learn how I used different approaches to build and maintain these libraries.
I needed to gain a lot of insight for a bevy of new features for our EHR product. Here you can see how I design and ran learning sessions for six new features all within a two month time span.
I designed an app to monitor the physical health of pregnant and postpartum women in underserved areas. In two years I took it from a class project to a federal HHS competition winner.
The remote maternal monitoring app required a variety of research methodologies. This is an in-depth look at how I accomplished this task with 236 research participants on a limited budget.
Findings from my research found that users were receptive to a conversational interface to answer questions. So, it was off to chatbot school to learn how to do it!
The City of Round Rock could use some help getting her citizens to improve their recycling efforts. Can we create an app that can change behavior for the better?
Round Rock officials are worried that people will not show up to their annual Sculptfest- a festival that showcases the work of sculptors from around the state. Can we create a campaign to capture people attention and get them to attend the festival?
Ever notice the people around you all dress the same? Have you been condemned to hard labor while being starved and ritualistically beaten? Concerned that your leader is exhibiting an unhealthy interest in your spouse and bank account? Are you beginning to wonder if you’re in a cult?
